Pete has been around forestry all of his life as his father, Craig Hays, was a forester with the Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge for over 30 years. He has extensive knowledge of mechanics and equipment that he has obtained from previous work experience, and his work while serving in the U. S. Navy. Since Pete joined Southern Resource Service in January of 2001, his primary emphasis has been operating and maintaining the equipment. However, through training Pete has learned to assist with some of our field forestry work as well.
